Vienna/London, June 5, 2018 – Octavio Pereira Lopes, the CFO of RHI Magnesita, has informed the Board that it is his intention to leave the Company by the end of 2018 and return to Brazil to pursue other career opportunities. We respect this decision and wish Octavio a lot of success for his new professional chapter and all the best for his family.
Octavio has been playing a key part in the integration of the two businesses which continues to go very well. The Board is thankful for this support and we keep counting on Octavio’s expertise over the next months until his departure. We anticipate it will be some months before we appoint Octavio’s successor.
In addition to Octavio’s departure a number of internal adjustments to the finance organization have been implemented to ensure a smooth transition and best operational set-up long-term.
No further information is required to be disclosed under 9.6.11 of the UK Listing Rules.
