Working at RHI Magnesita

  • I like working for RHI Magnesita, because there are a lot of opportunities to make your mark at RHI Magnesita and get involved. There is never a dull moment. The team here accomplishes amazing things everyday but still manages to have fun along the way.
  • My professional goals are to to bring a fresh perspective to everything I touch. Let’s bring some 21st century technologies in to how we conduct business.
  • I would love to go to the headquarters in Vienna.
  • My job is unique because my internal customers are up and down RHI Magnesita. Additionally, my external customer are not just the end users, but the suppliers who have goods and services coming into the organization. So, my day is ever evolving. One day I can be looking at a kiln drive on site and the next day meeting with a supplier on a contract negotiation.
  • If you would like to work for RHI Magnesita, the best advice I can give you is to be driven and persistent.

Personal

  • What makes me smile is well-timed sarcasm, the perfect fall day, 90% of the stupid things my kids get themselves into, and shenanigans.
  • My favorite food is Tacos, but I’m not sure there was another option. If I had a second place it would be my Grandmother’s apple pie and stuffing.
  • My favorite place to be is under a tree with a good book or outside when it’s snowing. It’s fantastically quiet.
  • An unusual hobby I have is to go antiquing and refinish furniture.
  • Something I always wanted to do is hiking through Ireland.
  • If I were alone on an island and could only take 3 things with me, I would choose pickles, an amazing pair of shoes and a Dan Brown book.
  • Something I can’t live without is laughter. I love to be surrounded by the people that make me smile and don’t take life so seriously all the time. It makes the hard stuff more bearable.
